The man of God needs someone who is tech-savvy to keep up with all the distractions that come with technology like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. All these devices are a hindrance to The Man or Woman of God. So not only does the armorbearer need to be tech-savvy but also his or her discernment skills need to be top-notch. Every distraction imaginable comes at the pastor. This is a different time we live in, so the position of the armorbearer has evolved tremendously. It’s with great pleasure to see my friend study this amazing topic.

Jessie Turner Jr. on How to Serve God’s Leader in this Century. As I thought about his life, I was reminded that the old adage is true: the apple does not fall far from the tree. Bro. Turner’s late parents were servant leaders in a local Baptist church and their service extended to the community, so it is not surprising to witness Jessie continuing in their footsteps. Turner picks up their mantle and helps us understand how to serve leaders in this season of ministry to give better service for the King. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to improve their service to local Church and to the Kingdom of God at large.
